Reports from the Conceptual Paradise

Following the film project »Conceptual Paradise«, in 2006 Stefan Römer’s book »Reports from the Conceptual Paradise« was made that consists of short texts by the artists interviewed in the film. Along the lines of early conceptual writings, the artist asked those involved to give a short answer to the following question: »What is your ideal and typical daily work as an artist?« From the different ideals of Conceptual Art formulated in the book one can gain information on the social and political state of artistic production processes in the phase of neoliberal capitalism.
